Parliament finish reading the four laws [expanded]

House of Representatives ended at its thirty – third regular , which was held under the chairmanship of Salim al – Jubouri , President of the Council and in the presence of 174 deputies on Wednesday , the first and second readings of the four bills.
According to a statement of the Department of Media Council of Representatives received by all of Iraq [where] a copy of it today that “at the beginning of the meeting the Presidency has decided to postpone the vote on the draft freedom of expression law and the peaceful demonstration and submitted by the legal committees, human rights, security, defense, culture, media and religious affairs to the day next Monday for the purpose of ripening. ”
He ended the Council the first reading of the first draft amendment to the Law of the Iraqi Nationality Law No. 26 of 2006 and submitted by the Security and Defense Committee , which was due to the emergence and constraints of problems when the practical application of the provisions of the Iraqi Nationality Law No. 26 of 2006 and to establish the legal treatment of these problems and obstacles and to facilitate procedures for citizens to prevent the dual nationality of the Iraqi non – winning Iraqi citizenship and half – slice of eligible Iraqi nationality affected under the former regime.
The Board completed the first reading of the draft trade unions and professional associations and submitted by the Committee of civil society institutions for the purpose of regulating the legal framework for the establishment of trade unions and professional associations and to ensure that the state and to ensure that people with professions rights and crafts and the acquisition of membership and investigation of the contribution of trade unions and federations in the investment, development and support of the Iraqi economy , the process of law.
The Board completed the first reading of the draft ratification accelerate cooperation in the economic field and energy affairs between the Government of the Republic of Iraq and the Government of the Republic of South Korea, submitted by the committees foreign oil, energy , natural resources , and the Economy and Investment Relations Agreement Act in order to contribute to the economic development of the Republic of Iraq and theRepublic of Korea through cooperation in the areas of economic support and support energy treatment on thebasis of the principles of reciprocity and equality and ratification of the Convention.
The Council postponed the reading and discussion of the draft report of the Statistics Law and submitted by the Committee on Economy and Investment until merged with another bill.
On the other hand, the Council completed reading a report and discussion of the draft accession of the Republic of Iraq to the Second Protocol to the Hague Convention of 1954 for the Protection of Cultural Property Law in the event of armed conflict and submitted by the committees of culture, media, tourism and antiquities, security, defense and foreign relations.
In the interventions of the House of Representatives, MP Riad Ghareeb called for the need to vote on the Convention for its importance for Iraq.
I asked MP Ammar Tohme about the reasons for ignoring the Convention in the content of the obligations of States that are not related to the Convention.
She asked MP Najiba Najib for the restoration of property stolen or smuggled mechanism.
He noted MP Salim Amuslimawi that certain committees of stolen antiquities recorded in the entry of US troops into Iraq.
In response to the interventions it confirmed the relevant committee , taking into account the proposals put forward for the vote on the Convention , in order to preserve the national heritage.
On the other hand called on the President of the Council of parliamentary committees to focus at the current stage on the completion of ready – made legislation for a vote, taking into account the specific question of oral interrogations and the dates specified time , referring to the allocation of timings on Thursday and Saturday to the work of the parliamentary committees.
Then decide to adjourn the meeting on Sunday 14/5/2017.
