Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi on Friday visited the headquarters of the Baghdad Operations Command to discuss the security situation in the capital and to review the measures to protect the visitors of Imam Kadhim.
A statement from the Prime Minister’s Office received by the “Journal News” that “Abadi briefed on the measures taken by Baghdad operations to protect visitors and ensure the visit of the martyrdom of Imam Musa bin Jaafar al-Kadhim peace be upon him.”
“We also discussed the security situation in the capital Baghdad and efforts to provide security for citizens and the plans of Baghdad’s future operations command to protect citizens.”
Abbadi issued a number of decisions and directives that contribute to security in the capital and provide security for citizens.
