Prime Minister Dr. Haidar al-Abbadi heads to US

Mr. Prime Minister, Dr. Haider al-Abadi went on Sunday to the United States an official invitation of the US President, Mr. Donald Trump.
He will meet Dr. Abadi, in addition to the President a number of administration officials, including Vice President, Foreign Minister and Chairman of the US House of Representatives, as well as meetings with members of Congress and the Senate to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the security, military, economic and other fields.
Mr. Prime Minister will also meet with officials of a number of international institutions and organizations, and attending external international coalition ministers’ meeting to eliminate Daesh.
