Statement of the Presidency of the Council of Representatives of Iraq

I met the Presidency of the Council of Representatives this evening under the chairmanship of President of the Council D.slam-Jabburi and Naiiba D.heik Hamoudi and professor Aram Sheikh Mohammed, was at the meeting discussed developments in the parliamentary crisis and attempts benevolent efforts to solve them.

Reflect the Presidency of the Council of Representatives of Iraq expressed gratitude to the statement of Mr. Muqtada al-Sadr and initiatives of the leaders and the faithful who have called for the preservation of national unity between the deputies of the Iraqi people, and to stick to constitutional legitimacy and rejected attempts to circumvent the demands of the masses or a character from the true path.

We would also like to emphasize the importance of a comprehensive parliamentary session for each contract Atgosai one because of his views and orientations, and that the House of Representatives will continue to hold periodic meetings in the usual timing.

We call on the Prime Minister to expedite the provision of ministerial cabin promised by the people and his deputies in Parliament, which we consider a priority in the next our agenda, and also confirm that we are determined to continue the reform process and we will take all constitutional measures generally attempt to delay or lag in the response to the demands of the people.
