{Baghdad: Euphrates News} Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said that “the government has reduced government spending for 2015 to 60% lower than it was, and we assume an additional reduction of the current fiscal year, and are working to reduce dependence on oil fiscal budget.”
A statement by the Prime Minister’s Office and the agency {Euphrates News} received a copy of it on Thursday, said that “the Prime Minister held a meeting with the President and members of the economic and investment commission in Parliament in which he said that” economic reform needs action, and we started working out to move the country to the right path, “adding that “the government needs to reformist team is consistent at the level of the application, and implementation of reforms, and the general direction and vision of the government.”
He added Abadi, that “communication with the parliament is important, there is a serious challenge as a result of lower oil prices, and the other to Ayai seriousness of the problem that requires cooperation and take measures to control it. ”
He pointed Abadi, that” the country is not driven by the mentality of one but collaboration within a single team, “adding” we have taken measures to encourage national product, and we will prevent flooding the market with goods imported shoddy to encourage our industry. ”
He stressed the need for cooperation in order to reduce the number of deputies and members of the provincial council; because of their importance in reducing expenses, as well as decision-making.
