Abadi: reduced government spending for 2015 to 60% lower than it was

{Baghdad: Euphrates News} Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said that “the government has reduced government spending for 2015 to 60% lower than it was, and we assume an additional reduction of the current fiscal year, and are working to reduce dependence on oil fiscal budget.”

A statement by the Prime Minister’s Office and the agency {Euphrates News} received a copy of it on Thursday, said that “the Prime Minister held a meeting with the President and members of the economic and investment commission in Parliament in which he said that” economic reform needs action, and we started working out to move the country to the right path, “adding that “the government needs to reformist team is consistent at the level of the application, and implementation of reforms, and the general direction and vision of the government.” 

He added Abadi, that “communication with the parliament is important, there is a serious challenge as a result of lower oil prices, and the other to Ayai seriousness of the problem that requires cooperation and take measures to control it. ”

Barzani: The region is undergoing difficult circumstances and are ready for any initiative from Baghdad

The head of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Nechirvan Barzani, the region is going through difficult circumstances, and we are ready for any initiative from the central government to address the problems.
