Iraqi Vice President Iyad Allawi said, in comments he made in Beirut on Tuesday that the elimination of extremism requires a unified strategy involving all countries in the region.
Allawi added during a press conference: “Frankly, the face of extremism strategy is still incomplete strategy, where a great many gaps. We believe that extremism is Daash or other forces, is in the fully harming the region.”
Allawi stressed on the necessity of a reconciliation between the states and the fact that national reconciliation, because they are capable of finding ways to unite in the face of terrorism, he said.
In the Syrian affairs, Iraqi Vice President pointed out that the cessation of the conflict lies in the adoption of a political solution as an option sole.
