Baghdad distributed 24 thousand diet Fund to displaced families

BAGHDAD / Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network (IMN) – a committee of civil society organizations in the Baghdad Provincial Council, said that the province got 24 thousand food fund provided by the World Organization for food, pointing out that the food will be distributed tomorrow to displaced people in coordination with the municipal councils.

The Chairperson of the Committee Mahdia Abdul Hassan’s (IMN), that “every diet Fund weighs 72 kg, and includes flour, rice, sugar, beans, canned tomato paste.”

Abdul Hassan pointed out that “each family will be assigned one box through the existing data with the municipal council.”

She said, “waiting for the province to support international organizations for displaced people through humanitarian and food and non-food materials.”

Most of the displaced families and lives to Baghdad in schools and government buildings, and filed with the slum areas across the province, due to their exposure to the killing, displacement and steal money and property from terrorist gangs Daash which seized control of the cities.
