Fallujah News / Diyala … Municipal Council announced in Mandali in Diyala province, re-opening of the border crossing between Iraq and Iran, has been closed for more than 30 years, stressing that the crossing will support economic development in large areas of Diyala and provides many job opportunities for the unemployed and creates flexibility in the pathways commercial traffic.
The head of the Council of Mandali Azad Hamid cured that ‘an official delegation from the Iraqi government and Iranian sides opened Somare-Mandali border crossing between Iraq and Iran, has been closed since more than 30 years as a result of the war of the eighties of the last century’.
He added that cured ‘crossing will support economic development in large areas of Diyala and provides jobs for thousands of unemployed, and create flexibility in commercial traffic between Iraq and Iran as road toward the crossing paths locked’.
