UN welcomes vote on the posts of defense, interior and urges the adoption of the budget

Tomorrow’s Press / Baghdad welcomed the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Nikolay Mladenov, Saturday, Parliament vote on the candidates for ministerial portfolios, urging Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi submit the budget proposal to the parliament.
And said Mladenov said in a statement received “tomorrow’s Press,” “We welcome the agreement reached today to fill the ministerial portfolios remaining vacant Ministers of both the interior and defense, tourism, immigration and women’s affairs, as well as the positions of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State, Culture and Finance, and the swearing in of the Ministers of the Kurdistan Alliance” .
“This is another important step towards the reunification of the country together, and I encourage the government to move forward quickly to address the challenges of security, economic, social and political faced by Iraq.”
Mladenov stressed the importance that “The Government of Haider Abadi, a proposed general budget as a priority issue to be addressed concerns of all Iraqis, including the Kurdistan region.”
Mladenov stressed that “the government and people of Iraq today enjoy the support of the international community in the fight against Daash,” noting that “the United Nations will continue to provide support to Iraq to build a democratic state that is inclusive and where there is respect for the rights of all Iraqis.”
The House voted, on Saturday, on the assumption Hoshyar Zebari bag of Finance and Rose Nuri Shaways as deputy prime minister and minister Mohammed Derbaz for Migration and Saman Abdullah and Minister of State.
