BAGHDAD / Network News Iraq revealed a parliamentary source for that Ahmed Chalabi and Khalid al-Obeidi, the two most prominent candidates for the interior and defense portfolios efforts.

Source: Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi will provide candidates Ahmed Chalabi and Khalid al-Obeidi to parliament for a vote on them middle of next week, adding that “the National Alliance will provide Today the only candidate for the post of Interior Minister to the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, an MP Ahmad Chalabi, after most of the agreement of the political blocs in the National Alliance internalized it, while it was agreed that Khalid al-Obeidi, a candidate for the Ministry of Defense.”
